Mr Ng Guan Tiong, 61, was appointed to the Wheelock Properties (Singapore) Board as an Executive Director on 1 January 2007. Mr Ng was re-elected as Director at the Annual General Meeting on 31 July 2007.
Mr Ng's career in property development spans 35 years during which he was involved in major hotel, shopping, residential, office and industrial developments both in Singapore and Malaysia. Mr Ng joined the Company in 1990 and has been responsible for the construction and project management of all the Group's development projects, including overseeing the customer service and contract management functions of the Group. He has successfully managed the Group's construction projects including Wheelock Place, Ardmore Park, Grange Residences and The Sea View. Currently, he manages The Cosmopolitan, Ardmore II, Orchard View and Scotts Square projects as well as the upcoming Ardmore 3 in Ardmore Park.
Mr Ng is a member of the Society of Project Managers, Singapore. He also served as a member of the Building Construction Authority Construction Excellence Awards Assessment Committee from 1996 to 2001 and was a member of the Assessment Committee for the Society of Project Managers' Outstanding Architectural/Engineering Consultancy Firm Award in 1999. |
